2011/2012 Cash Tuition Costs $0.00 estimated K-12 There will be a zero dollar estimated billing for the 2011/2012 School Year for those approved Cash Tuition Students. We will NOT be mailing an estimated billing to our cash transfer families, however we will make these statements available upon request. After the 2011/2012 school year ends, we will re-calculate the costs using actual expenditures and invoice any applicable costs to the parents/guardians. The calculation for the 2010/2011 School Year has been completed. There will be zero dollars due for K-12 for those attending during 2010/2011. As a cost savings measure, Shenandoah School Corporation will NOT be mailing copies of the actual billing unless requested by the parent/guardian of the approved student. |

NON-RESIDENT STUDENT ADMISSION
The Board of School Trustees recognizes that a child must be a legal resident of the Shenandoah School Corporation in order to attend its schools. The Board further recognizes that extenuating circumstances often arise and it is for these cases that the following regulations have been adopted.
It is the intent of the Board that all applicable policies and laws in regard to student transfers shall be strictly enforced.
The Superintendent of Schools shall develop the operational procedures and forms necessary for the implementation of this policy.
Requests by parents, guardians, or custodians of Indiana students who do not reside in Shenandoah School Corporation but who wish to enroll their child in the school system will be considered for enrollment if:

The building principal and superintendent shall be granted the discretion to grant or deny any and all transfer requests based on the established procedures.

Students transferring to this Corporation from other schools or school systems shall be placed in those classes or at those grade levels for which their previous educational experiences appear to qualify them. The School Corporation reserves the right to change or modify such placements based on later information, testing, or investigation.
NON-RESIDENT STUDENT ADMISSION
Shenandoah School Corporation will not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or handicapping condition, including limited English proficiency, in its educational programs or employment policies as required by state and federal laws.
